Liberty and Tyranny

For all the talk of "tyranny" from Washington with a Democratic Congress and Barack Obama as President, its amazing the little tyrannies that local officials enforce and that nobody tries to stop.

One of the clearest examples of this has long been in Arizona, where a sheriff, in the name of stopping illegal immigration, has built a near gulag, including chain-gangs, in which anyone accused of a crime in impressed. He arrests politicians who disagree with his methods. A short rundown can be found here.

This is the man that, I expect, the Tea Party right will try to get elected Governor of AZ, yet they complain about "tyranny" in getting people health care. Mind boggling.
